People’s Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a place where “it’s OK to not be OK,” and where anyone can bring their hurts, baggage, and hang-ups and find the life change that Jesus brings.

The reach

When they began planning for Easter, the team at People’s Church knew they wanted a visual concept for the series rooted in hope and renewal.

It would work with that year’s message: “We all go through challenges, whether it’s a struggle in your relationships, health, school, or work. But no matter how challenging things may be, you can bounce back. That’s what Easter is all about! Join us as we celebrate Easter with a time of worship and fun and a powerful message for all ages!”

The team at ArtSpeak conducted discovery, presented mood boards, and created concepts for the new visual direction for the series.

The win

The final design for Easter at People’s Church had a bold, hope-filled vibe with vibrant colors and a slightly aged, textured look that added warmth and depth.

The type was strong and expressive, tying everything together. We brought in the arch from a past series and added a circle overlapping it to represent the stone being rolled away. Overall, the look felt modern, upbeat, and welcoming—light, airy, and full of hope.
