When Valley Simsbury Church in Avon, Connecticut, launched as an independent plant from their home church, they needed a new name, a new brand, and a new identity to reach an audience in their community.

The reach

After a deep-discovery on-site, the ArtSpeak team partnered with Valley Simsbury to establish the church’s internal brand focus: the church in the Farmington Valley that redefines society’s definition of success and re-centers on true transformation through Jesus. 

Once Valley Simsbury highlighted their strengths, they dug into who they wanted to reach. As a neighboring mentor, they felt equipped to reach people seeking genuine fulfillment and trying to keep up with the illusion of success.

Finally, to establish themselves as an independent church, they needed a new name. Through ideation, research, and community surveying, they landed on Pathway Church—a name that feels unique and aligns with their mission.

As a young church plant with a new name and brand, Pathway Church launched their new identity to their congregation and is continuing to reach their community.
