Bringing a new brand in front of the world

“Be the real you, meet the real God, and make a real impact.” That’s the message that Victory Family Church has for the communities of Cranberry Township, Meadville, and New Castle, PA. The ArtSpeak team worked closely with theirs to craft branding that reflected this notion of sincere hope. But when the project was complete, they needed to bring their new brand to the world. They wanted to reach more people in their community but weren’t sure how to make the best use of their church’s marketing resources. That’s why they partnered with us for ongoing church marketing and strategy support.

Social Media Management

Our team created a social media strategy to help them work towards their three major goals–growing as a church, investing in the next generation, and reaching more men in their community.

Based on their audience of young, hardworking families with a love for all things sports, we decided to focus on showcasing grit, humor, and genuine support.

Based on their audience of young, hardworking families with a love for all things sports, we decided to focus on showcasing grit, humor, and genuine support.

This strategy became the baseline, with multiple iterations we refreshed as the church’s needs changed. Included were organic and paid media strategies, a tiered promotional plan, and a short-form video content plan.

With the Victory team’s oversight, our team implemented these strategies. We ideate, write, design, and schedule organic content for Facebook and Instagram using weekly templates–as many as seven to ten posts per week. In addition, we facilitate a recurring awareness paid ad campaign, which we refresh regularly, alongside any supplementary campaign-based paid media.

As their social media audience continues to grow, so has the percentage of men engaging with their content.

Seasonal Branding

With a continued focus on the church’s goals, our team has conceptualized and implemented seasonal branding refreshes on a quarterly basis. Their summer 2023 style included bright, modern and lighthearted colors, accompanied by fun text and design elements. To transition into fall, we chose a darker palette full of neutrals, and warm, bold accents. With the fall 2023 iteration of their seasonal branding, a seasonal photo preset was introduced, which became standard practice for future refreshes.

By consistently including seasonal branding in their church marketing efforts, they have achieved more cohesive, refreshed looks for their social media presence while providing more variety in print media and apparel.

Event Marketing

Victory Family Church has a number of large events each year, including their Christmas at the Movies series, Christmas and Easter services, various conferences, and more. Our team has worked closely with theirs to provide unique promotional campaigns for each of these events.

They had big dreams for their 2024 Encounter Conference, an annual conference for youth and youth leaders in their region. Their goal was to more than triple the previous year’s attendance. To help reach that goal, our team developed a promotional plan that included organic and paid social media, website strategy, graphic design for print and digital, email marketing, and the development of a shareable media kit. As of this writing (June 2024), registrations have increased by 600% compared to 2023.

Working with a virtual creative team

As a large church with many ministries, moving parts, and major ongoing campaigns, Victory Family Church has a variety of creative and strategy needs that can change based on the season.

ArtSpeak team has become an extension of the church’s communications team, excitedly ready to support those needs. In addition to large ongoing projects, our support has included sub-ministry branding, event marketing, email opt-in writing and optimization, consulting, and more.

Victory Family Church is making a real impact

As a result of our ongoing collaboration, Victory Family Church’s social media following has grown by an average of 15% between Facebook and Instagram, including a 77.4% increase in organic engagement. Their weekly short-form video content receives between 1500 to 3000 views and 100 engagements. Their recurring paid social ads receive an average of 500 clicks, with 30,000 monthly impressions.

In addition, they’ve seen an increase in attendance year over year, particularly when it comes to major events like Christmas, Easter, and Back To School Weekend. More people are choosing to make a public declaration of faith and be baptized than ever before, with dozens of baptisms happening every quarter. They’re fulfilling their mission to make a real impact in their region, inviting more people to be their authentic selves, meet the real God, and find their victory.
